Dear all,
I hope this blog is finding you well! I have recently completed Maple Manor but could not help posting about the Blanches in their new home. Now I have taken my proper images for you to see. I will also attach amazon links to products so that you can buy your own version or something similar. I should have done this before but better late than never!
So this is the outside and this is by far the hardest house to paint. Considering I do not use masking tape that much, it is all by hand. There are lots of elements to this house like all the panelling and the windows. You really need a steady hand for this. There are other sections too like brick and wood panelling which I wanted to paint different colours. So I had to coordinate the paint. That took several attempts, which you can see on the back.
I originally painted the green parts cream but that just looked odd. So that was painful to keep repainting but the end product was worth the wait. It looks so much sharper now.
And this is the side. This house has lovely side windows with lots of different shapes and sizes.
This the whole home set up. It’s full to the brim with accessories as I finally managed to organise them all out. I will do a separate post of this because I have a pretty good system for this now.
This is the kitchen with my favourite kitchen set. I love how it created a L shape and hugs the room. The fridge is also smart ( https://amzn.to/3CiAouk ). You can see that I painted the wood trim round the building too.
This is the unit that is tucked out the way. It is the Welsh dresser from Flair. It is a really lovely set with the microwave. The kettle on the top is Tomy as well.
https://amzn.to/4ahEHTc > This is the link for this living room set. It is one of the newest sets that I have bought. I love the wood look frames and the cushions. They are adorned with throws and cushions that were a gift. The plant to the side really makes the room. I think this is one of my favourite to date, the room looks so cosy.
The TV set with the chairs is also a nice touch. It looks so detailed and inviting, rather than a big TV sat on a table.
This would be the entrance to the garden. There is room to the side for the rabbits to get around.
This was the scene for my most recent post. I left is similar except for the homework on the table.
Again, the same from my previous post. This is an older washing set. It tucks very nicely into the corner. https://amzn.to/3WjZ0dg > this is the link.
The cupboard is from the conservatory set. The rest of the toys are a mix of sets. I really love the blue in this room.
Some very sweet beds with teddies on.
Elora’s bed is actually from a set that is blue. However, I used the mattress from the triplet bunk beds, the duvet from another crib set and then a rabbit cushion/bib as a cushion. This is the original set > https://amzn.to/40h3ORI
They also have a balcony which is cute.
The parent’s room has James’ cot to the side as he is still small. This room is a complete mix of sets which I think is more fun. The bed is a traditional one that is still available, with the side table. The lamp is from the drawing room set I think. Then the dresser is from the master bedroom set. The bedding is also a mix. The brass bed set has this lovely linen bedding so I used that. The cushions are handmade gifts, like James’ bed, which I thought looked sweet laid together.

Of course this is the family that lives here. This is the link if you would like to purchase them: https://amzn.to/3PAq5oq
