Field View Mill

 Hello!

I have been busy decorating and renovating. My most recent project has been field view mill. I decided if I wanted to windmill it would have to be pink. So that was what happened...

I am very happy with the results. I really love the pink and blue. I also used white acrylic to refresh the door, the swing, the window frames and the centre part of the sails.

Here's the door! It looks so so much better. You can really see the woodwork and the different brick work.

I painted the only square room in the house this lovely green colour. I thought the pink would be too much here. I also refreshed the flowers to add some varied tones.

I used this older garden set on the terrace. It looks so sweet! Who wouldn't want to have tea and cake out here?

And this is the centre of the windmill. It brings a lot more attention to the lovely sun in the middle.

These are all the rooms! It looks so lovely and busy! It looks so lived in.

I have to admit the bottom room is harder to access but I taken parts out so that it is easier to see. As you can see I love plants too.

As the room is round it's hard to furnish but I think I managed to utilise the space well. I love the kitchen towel on the oven.
Then on the sink there are some freshly baked muffins. It looks so cute.

This is the dresser that is also in the kitchen. Fully stocked with fresh veg and jams.

Then this little unit was from the washing machine set. I decided this family needs some milk and then a lovely copper pot. I also have this milk churn which is very fitting for this farm kitchen.

Next is the parent's room. I put this on the ground floor so the parents can have some peace and quiet. I made the curtains too.

And I am one for a romantic touch so who wouldn't love flowers from their husband on their bedside table. This is partly based on Sweet Berry Valley's blog and her Dalmatians love story. I have attached a link...

This is the children's room. This was quite hard to furnish as you cut off so much space with the curved edges. You can see the ladder up on the ceiling that comes down to go to the next floor.

Here's the balcony again. Here is the lovely set again.

Here are the sweetest baby beds. I have matched the colours to the children's clothing.
This is quite an older set but I love how the drawers actually work.
Here is how the beds are stored.
The room is quite tidy for now ...
One last image...

This is the last main building room. I really wanted this farm house to have a bathroom for after a hard days work.

This country bathroom set also has this towel set.

I love this sink unit, especially with its room for soap and lotions.

Lastly, the living room is in the observatory. I thought this would be a pretty awesome place to relax.

So here are some cozy throws.
It would be lovely to be in here I think.

So who lives here?

The Fielding mice family! Darcy Fielding runs Evergreen farm which his family has done for generations. I love the sylvanian mice, they seem so pleased to be there.

They seem very proud of their home.

I think the youngest son, Fred, is the sweetest. He looks very cheeky.

Little Beth is also very cute. You can't quite see her hands but her fur is is quite worn. She is very well loved.

I will do another post with them in their home as this post is getting quite long.

Best wishes,

Helly :)
