Breakfast at Woodland Lodge

Dear Readers,

I hope this blog update finds you well. I have been busy with lots of projects over the evenings and I wanted to share this instalment of my Woodland Lodge in action.

I thought it might be nice to share what I've been up to. I have been debating whether to post some in the process shots but I've decided that for now I'm not going to. I like my blog having the end products as it is more satisfying. I do want to share what I've done though as part of my intro:
- I have just finished the haberdashery shop which is owned by the Dearly family. That is what I am hoping to photograph soon.
- I also want to officially do a post about my bakery that was featured on my last set up so I can show you the details.
- I have lots of new figures which I am excited to introduce.

With this in mind, here is my story...

Within the deep depths of the Evergreen Forest the first signs of spring were starting to show. Small flowers were starting to peek above the surface and trees were starting to sing with birdsong. Evergreen Hollow, as its name suggests, is always green. Its name comes from the beautiful evergreen trees that surround the town and create a dense woodland.

The Osborne bears are living happily in their home. Once the days are starting to get longer, and it starts to feel warmer on their fur, Caroline loves to have the family outside. She will often serve breakfast out there so all the family can enjoy the spring air together.

After eating as many waffles as his mother would serve him, Aidan rather fancies a ride into the forest. Recently, him and his friends have discovered a small stream which holds lots of small bugs and fish. Today he thinks he might try and catch them! Sadly, his only equipment is his sister's tennis racket. Hopefully, she does not notice. He did sneak it out from under the bed last night and she is still none the wiser.

The house is set within a small clearing so the sky is visible.

This morning the family is enjoying their breakfast. Caroline has made some sourdough waffles as some sunny side up eggs. This is particular favourite of the family. She also serves this with some bananas which the children will take as their snack for later. Eve enjoys this time outside as she can tell her father about her recent project at school. Eve is a diligent pupil which pleases her father greatly. He is the village geography teacher and he hopes Eve will also be a teacher like him one day.

It seems that Toby is pulling a mischievous grin though. This is the unmistakable face of a bear cub who is trying to eat some dirt and not get caught. If Toby is quiet, that normally means he is up to no good.

He's still checking that he is in the clear. However, he has failed to notice his mother on the porch who is watching his every move.

The families newest editions are Bradley and Casey. They are only 9 months old but live to be outside.

It seems Caroline has noticed Toby pawing at the dirt.

I hope you have enjoyed this short blog post about the Osbourne bears. I would like to thank a very kind and lovely person who gifted me the breakfast set! I love how it turned out in these photos.

Have a lovely day and speak to you all soon,
Helly
